Senior Project Engineer

Key Requirements:

• BEng in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
• Extensive experience managing projects involving thickeners and screens within mineral processing or related industrial environments
• Proven track record in end-to-end project management, from engineering and procurement through to construction, commissioning, and handover
• Strong understanding of mechanical design, fabrication, installation, and integration of process equipment
• Solid commercial and contractual awareness, including cost control, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage mechanical and process-related projects in line with scope, budget, quality, and schedule requirements
• Oversee engineering deliverables related to thickeners, screens, and associated mechanical systems
• Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure effective project execution
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and internal governance standards
• Provide accurate project reporting to senior management and clients
