Operations Manager (Rustenburg)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the building, including security, cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ensure health & safety compliance (OHS), conduct regular inspections, and implement preventative maintenance.
• Handle tenant liaison, resolve complaints, and coordinate installations or refurbishments.
• Manage third-party service providers, negotiate contracts, and control service quality and cost.
• Develop and enforce building policies and procedures aligned with company goals and compliance standards.
• Prepare and manage operational budgets, analyze cost recoveries, and oversee procurement and asset planning.
• Coordinate and implement security protocols, manning schedules, emergency procedures, and safety awareness.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery, value for money, and contract compliance.
• Lead, train, and appraise the operations team, ensuring alignment with performance standards and company culture.

✠Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years experience in Facilities or Operations Management, ideally in commercial property.
• Proven ability to lead operational teams, manage service providers, and implement best practices.
• Solid understanding of OHS standards, maintenance protocols, and property systems.
• Exceptional communication, planning, and vendor negotiation skills.
• Tech-savvy with experience in property management systems and reporting tools.
