Our client is seeking a dynamic, professional, and reliable Receptionist / Personal Assistant to provide administrative and organizational support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the broader office team.

The ideal candidate should be well-organized, communicates professionally, and maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times.

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own vehicle
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Minimum 1 - 5 years' experience as a Personal Assistant and Receptionist
  • Proficient in MS Office and Canva will be advantageous

Skills required:

  • Computer literacy: Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Canva experience will be an advantage
  • Typing speed: Minimum of 50 words per minute
  • Problem-solving ability: Able to identify issues, analyse options, and implement effective solutions
  • Communication: Professional, clear, and courteous
  • Reliability: Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Understanding of switchboard and office administration procedures
  • Working knowledge of general office equipment and software

Key duties and responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Manage general reception and switchboard – welcome visitors, handle incoming calls, and respond to inquiries professionally
  • Diary management for the CEO, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Typing, filing, and preparing agendas and minutes for staff meetings
  • Monitor staff attendance and leave records, including fingerprint clock-ins and timesheet balancing
  • Coordinate annual show programs and functions, including obtaining quotations and managing administrative tasks
  • Maintain office equipment (telephone, fax, photocopier, computer, etc.) and ensure systems are in working order
  • Handle office administration and client communication in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage and safeguard confidential information at all times
  • Support other administrative functions where necessary, including receipting payments
  • Liaise with media, designers, and service providers upon approval from the CEO

Renumeration:

R13 000 - R15 000 Cost to Company, depending on experience

Working hours:

Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
