Quality Manager (Petrochemical) - Paarl

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify scope of work, review contractors internal QMS, QC trackers, and material receipt processes.
• Conduct audits of manufacturing, storage, packing, and preservation procedures.
• Review and validate contractor certifications, NDE reports, PMI, coating, insulation, and electrical requirements.
• Manage vendor validation, onboarding, and site surveillance activities.
• Ensure contractor adherence to codes and standards such as ASME, ISO, API, PER, and SANS.
• Oversee welding performance, QC documentation, and ensure closure of audit findings.
• Track QC data, review QC packs, and report on quality status to management.
• Lead corrective actions and ensure compliance with all project quality requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 10 years experience in petrochemical welding and fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards and procedures.
• Certified ISO Auditor.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proven experience in quality project management and contractor oversight.
• Proficiency in PC applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to interpret P&ID, isometric drawings, and understand refinery processes.
