My client is in search of a Cost & Management Accountant in Johannesburg to support the Financial Manager with accurate financial data analysis, driving operational decisions and compliance. You will have 3+ years' experience in manufacturing or similar industries, with strong attention to detail and a passion for financial performance.

Responsibilities:
- Analyse and monitor production costs, variances, and profitability
- Maintain accurate operational cost
- Develop and refine costing systems to support pricing strategies and profitability goals
- Prepare detailed cost reports identifying variances and investigating differences
- Oversee inventory valuation and prepare monthly stock reports
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Assist with working capital planning
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with compliance in audits, and other statutory requirements
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute financial strategies
- Support shareholder engagement by preparing financial reports and updates
Requirements:
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience within manufacturing or a similar industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations
- Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office and Advanced MS Excel skills
