Our client is a global platform serving the international education sector through media, events, and recruitment services. They offer a collaborative, fast-growing environment with opportunities for commercial impact, mentorship, and career progression.
The Role: Business Development ManagerThis is a client-facing, target-driven role focused on generating new business and increasing revenue across the company's portfolio. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing consultative relationships, delivering proposals, and managing the full sales cycle through to closing.
The role also involves attending industry events and working cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities- Minimum 2 years experience in business development or B2B sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across relevant sectors
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to deal closure
- Build strong, consultative relationships with prospective clients
- Deliver tailored proposals and confident presentations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records
- Represent the business at events and networking opportunities
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and delivery
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development
- Proven track record of managing full sales cycles and closing deals
- Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills
- Commercially motivated, target-driven, and proactive
- Interest in or knowledge of the international education sector is a bonus but not essentia
