Junior Software Engineer

What Youll Do- Collaborate with a local software team as part of a global development network.
- Develop and refine radar algorithms in MATLAB and implement them in embedded C/C++.
- Contribute to software requirements, architecture, and detailed design.
- Debug, test, and validate software to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high standards of quality.
- Optional opportunities to work with C#, Python, PC tools, and new technology exploration.
- Qualifications: BEng or BSc Hons in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
- Experience: 01 year (Graduate/Junior level).
- Core Skills:
- Strong problem-solving ability with high-quality coding skills.
- Proficiency in C or C++.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Bonus Skills:
- Radar signal processing, MATLAB, electronic/embedded hardware design.
- Familiarity with comms protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN), Git, Agile/Scrum, and unit testing.
- Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa (in-person with remote flexibility).
