Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling smart technology security products to clients. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding our market presence within the security solutions sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities, prospect leads, and onboard new clients.
  • Target Driven: Achieve and exceed monthly/annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Product Expertise: Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for clients, providing technical guidance where required.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and pipeline forecasts.
  • End-to-End Sales: Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to closing deals.
Minimum Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales specifically within the security industry (non-negotiable).
  • An existing network of industry clients is highly advantageous.
  • Strong technical understanding of security products and solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a sales pipeline.
Remuneration Package
  • Basic Salary: R35,000 R40,000 (Depending on experience)
