Key Responsibilities:
- Month-end journals and financial reconciliations
- General ledger and balance sheet analysis
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Detailed budget and variance analysis
- Intercompany loan reconciliations and journals
- Fixed assets, capitalisation and depreciation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Budgeting and cash flow reporting
- Annual audits and tax submissions
- Quarterly financial reporting schedules
- Finance process improvements and reporting optimisation
- Finance projects and ad hoc financial analysis
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Accounting degree
- 4+ years' experience in a Financial Accountant / Senior Financial Accountant role
- Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles would be advantageous
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong technical accounting and analytical capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
