Financial Manager

The Financial Manager will be responsible for the full finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and meaningful financial insight to support business operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance day-to-day financial management with strategic and operational finance support.

The ideal candidate will bring strong operations finance experience, with proven exposure to stock management, foreign currency transactions, and supply chain-linked finance, and will be comfortable partnering closely with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for the end-to-end finance function
Preparation and review of monthly management accounts, including detailed analysis and commentary
Acting as a finance business partner to operations, procurement, and supply chain teams
Providing financial input into operational decision-making and project costing
Financial oversight of inventory and stock accounting, including valuation and cost of sales
Reviewing and reconciling stock movements and variances

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Completed BCom Degree (Accounting or similar)
Completed articles
5+ years relevant financial and operational finance experience
Proven experience in:
Operations / commercial finance
Stock and inventory accounting
Foreign currency (forex) exposure
Experience within the energy, sustainability, engineering, or infrastructure sectors will be highly advantageous
