Position: Plumber

Crew Life at Sea is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Plumber, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our vessels at sea.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems on board our vessels
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout and installation of plumbing systems
• Collaborate with other crew members to plan and execute plumbing projects
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Communicate effectively with other crew members and superiors to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in plumbing technology and techniques

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Plumber, preferably in a marine or industrial setting
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Physically fit and able to work in a physically demanding environment
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule and be on call for emergencies
• Valid plumbing license or certification is preferred
