General Worker

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Worker to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual labor tasks, including but not limited to loading and unloading materials, cleaning and maintaining work areas, and assisting with general site operations.

• Load and unload materials from trucks and assist with the movement of materials on site
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and tidy work environment
• Assist with the setup and dismantling of equipment and machinery as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods of time
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and protocols
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
