Management Accountant

We are recruiting a strategic Management Accountant on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of innovative packaging and plastic solutions. Key Responsibilities:

In this highly visible role, you will act as the key financial partner to the operations and commercial teams. You will be responsible for analyzing the costs of materials, production runs, and product lines to provide the insights that drive smarter business decisions and sustainable growth.

• Cost & Margin Analysis: Analyze material usage, machine efficiency, and product line profitability to find improvement opportunities.
• Management Reporting: Prepare monthly accounts, budgets, and forecasts with performance commentary.
• Operational Business Partnering: Collaborate with production to understand cost drivers and implement control measures.
• Inventory & Valuation: Oversee inventory valuation and ensure accurate controls for raw materials and finished goods.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance and a CIMA qualification.
• 3-5 years of cost or management accounting experience within manufacturing (packaging, plastics, or FMCG ideal).
• A proactive problem-solver, skilled at analyzing complex data and partnering with non-finance teams.
• Proficient in an ERP system (e.g., SAP and Syspro) and advanced Excel.
