Junior Associate / Admitted Attorney

Qualifications:

• Education: LLB Degree from a recognized institution.
• Admission: Admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• Experience: 02 years post-admission experience (ideal for recently admitted attorneys).
• Legal Skills:
• Strong research and analytical abilities
• Excellent drafting and communication skills
• Knowledge of court procedures and legal processes
• Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Jutastat)
• Soft Skills:
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and client service skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Attributes:

• Exposure to specific areas of law (e.g., commercial, litigation, property, family, or labour law).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (if required).
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other South African languages is advantageous.
