Systems Administrator

Minimum requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role
• Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux and others
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
• Certification for virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Certification for cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server certifications
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) as well as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) would be beneficial
• Own reliable transport

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and maintain operating systems, software and hardware components
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Implement security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access or breaches
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights
• Perform routine backups and disaster recovery procedures
• Collaborate with IT teams to plan and implement system upgrades and enhancements
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed
