A well-established and reputable industrial construction company in Roodepoort is seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Senior Bookkeeper to join their close-knit finance team.
This full time in office role is ideal for a stable, experienced accounting professional who enjoys full-function bookkeeping and thrives in a structured, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Balance Sheet and Income Statements
- Compilation of monthly management accounts
- Management reporting
- Year-end audit preparation and support
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing of payments
- Journal entries
- Various ad-hoc accounting and financial duties
You will play a key role in supporting the finance function and ensuring accurate, timeous financial reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting
- 58 years solid, hands-on bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Strong Excel & Pastel skills
- Experience on Emwin (construction accounting system) advantageous (training provided)
- Previous experience within the construction/building sector preferred
- Code 08 drivers license and own transport
- Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
- Stable employment history with contactable references
