Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production schedules
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency
• Supervise production staff and provide training as needed
• Ensure product quality standards are met
• Implement and maintain production safety protocols
• Overseeing daily operations within the department and implementing strategic plans.
• Acting as a lead on process and procedure improvements.

• Count cash at the end of the shift and manage bank deposits
• Train and integrate new workers
• Resolve Conflicts between colleagues
• Ensure that daily production goals or targets are met.
• Manage daily schedules, employee shifts, and time-off requests
• Assign duties to employees and oversee their progress.
• Assisting in budget preparation and expense management.
• Evaluating team performance and developing improvement plans.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Supervisor or similar role.
• Full understanding of industry safety standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of basic software, such as Word and Excel.
• Ability to multitask.
• Leadership and conflict-management skills.
• Matric.
• Production-related postgraduate qualification.
• Food Manufacturing experience is a must.
