Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Developing and refining mechanical designs from concept through to implementation.
- 2+ years' relevant mechanical design engineering experience.
- Producing detailed 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
- Performing engineering calculations, design reviews and technical assessments.
- Selecting appropriate materials, components and manufacturing methods.
- Working closely with manufacturing, production, project and engineering teams.
- Reviewing designs for functionality, manufacturability, reliability and cost.
- Supporting prototyping, testing, commissioning and design improvements.
- Investigating technical problems and implementing practical engineering solutions.
- Preparing technical documentation, specifications and engineering reports.
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant engineering standards and specifications.
