A well-established organisation is looking to appoint a Financial Accountant who is eager to take ownership of financial reporting while gaining exposure to broader commercial and operational activities. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with key stakeholders, support strategic initiatives, and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manage month-end and year-end reporting requirements
- Perform reconciliations and investigate financial variances
- Ensure compliance with VAT, tax, and statutory regulations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Provide accurate financial analysis and reporting to management
- Maintain robust financial controls and ensure ledger accuracy
- BCom Accounting degree
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles (essential)
- 35 years post-article experience
- Strong financial reporting and advanced Excel skills
- Experience within a manufacturing, operational, engineering, distribution, FMCG, or similar environment will be advantageous
