Accountant - Vanderbijlpark

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily and monthly customer invoicing and calculations
• Sending invoices and statements
• Maintaining the customer control list
• Debt collection and customer account reconciliations
• Supplier capturing, processing, reconciliation, and payments
• Daily bank processing and reconciliations
• Month-end bank closures
• Reimbursements and out-of-pocket expense processing
• Management and employee purchase requests
• Electronic filing and finance administration
• Fixed asset register and insurance maintenance
• Airtime allocations and ad hoc finance support
• Quote preparation
• Audit file preparation
• General ledger maintenance
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assistance with management accounts and reporting
• Loan account handling
• Support with payroll processing and administration
• Monthly, bi-annual, and annual statutory returns (VAT, EMP, Income Tax, Dividends Tax, EE, IRP5, etc.)

Requirements:

• Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles
• 23 years post-article experience
• Experience in accounting firms (including audits)
• Pastel Partner & Payroll proficiency
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Bookkeeping to trial balance
• Strong knowledge of SARS submissions and regulations
• Bilingual in English & Afrikaans (preferred)
• Female candidates preferred
