R&D Mechanical Engineer – Land Systems

Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• BEng / BSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 5+ years R&D (Research and Development) or design experience in land-based vehicles, heavy machinery, or defense systems
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, CATIA)
• Experience with FEA, prototyping, and testing methodologies
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and drivetrain systems

Beneficial requirements:

• Exposure to military vehicle development or armored systems
• Knowledge of ISO, MIL-STD, or similar standards
• Experience in cross-disciplinary teams including software, electronics, or mechatronics

Duties and responsibilities:

• Research, design, and develop land-based mechanical systems including suspension, powertrain, and structural elements.
• Prototype and test new components for military or commercial land vehicles.
• Integrate hydraulic and pneumatic systems for optimal field performance.
• Apply principles of vehicle dynamics and mechanical design in product development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, electronics, and manufacturing engineers.
• Participate in field trials and data analysis for performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards and customer requirements.
