Senior Performance & Attribution Analyst - Investments

We are seeking a skilled and analytical professional to join a leading investment environment as a Senior Performance & Attribution Analyst. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in investment performance measurement, data integrity, and portfolio analysis.

Key Requirements:

• Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• CFA, CIPM or similar
• 5–8 years’ experience in performance measurement and attribution
• Strong understanding of investment portfolios (listed and unlisted)
• Experience with performance systems (e.g. StatPro, HiPortfolio or similar)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and manage data reconciliation across performance and source systems
• Calculate and validate portfolio returns (time- and money-weighted)
• Analyse portfolio performance drivers across asset classes and sectors
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports
• Monitor benchmark performance and provide insights on risk and return
• Maintain and enhance performance models
• Ensure compliance with governance and reporting standards
• Support and mentor junior team members
