Assistant Company Secretary

As the Assistant Company Secretary, your duties include the following:
Assist the Group Company Secretary in delivering board and committee support, including meeting packs, agendas, minutes, resolutions, and follow-ups
Ensure timely statutory and regulatory filings in compliance with Companies Act and JSE requirements
Maintain and update the companys statutory records and registers
Support the execution of corporate actions, share schemes, and annual reporting requirements
Provide accurate and up-to-date governance advice to internal stakeholders

Liaise with CIPC, JSE, transfer secretaries, and other regulatory bodies as required

Skills & Experience:
  1. 5 years of experience in a corporate commercial secretarial environment
Proven exposure to JSE-listed companies
In-depth understanding of the Companies Act, King IV, and JSE listings requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to liaise confidently with senior stakeholders

Qualification: Completed LLB degree (non-negotiable)

Qualification from the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa (CGISA) or similar will be highly advantageous
