Human Resource Clerk

IOD Case Management
  • Receive and document all workplace injury reports.
  • Complete and submit required COIDA forms (e.g., W.CL.2, W.CL.4, W.CL.5, W.CL.6).
  • Liaise with the Compensation Fund and Department of Labour.
  • Ensure submission of medical reports and progress updates.
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate IOD records and case files.
  • Ensure employer compliance with COIDA and OHS regulations.
  • Prepare monthly IOD statistics and incident reports.
  • Employee Support
  • Guide employees through the claims process.
  • Provide updates on claim status and compensation.
  • Risk & Safety Collaboration
  • Work with Health & Safety teams to investigate incidents.
  • Identify trends and recommend preventative measures

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • National Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, HR, or related field.
  • 25 years experience in IOD case management or compensation administration.
  • Knowledge of COIDA, OHS Act, and related labour legislation.
  • Strong administrative and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Empathy and professionalism
  • Problem-solving and decision-making
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office and case tracking systems
