System Analyst Engineer (Business Analyst)

We are seeking a Systems Analyst Engineer to bridge the gap between business needs and engineering execution. This role focuses on eliciting requirements, documenting complex data flows, and ensuring delivery aligns with business value within an Agile framework.

• Professional Experience: * Intermediate: 46 years. Or Senior: 710+ years delivering complex initiatives.
• Experience in Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and requirements modelling, including state/sequence concepts and data models.
• Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance.
• Ability to produce succinct documentation and decision-ready summaries for mixed technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with ISO 20022 standards and PCI DSS compliance environments. (advantageous)
• Prior experience in fintech, payments, or card programs. (advantageous)

• Elicit, analyse, and document business needs into high-quality epics, user stories, and process flows.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and maintain clear traceability from initial need to delivered value.
• Support backlog refinement and prioritization, ensuring work is testable and fits within sprint boundaries.
• Contribute to data definitions and domain modelling, particularly for payments messaging and integration needs.
