Storeman Assistant

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
• Basic computer literacy (Excel, EQMS, SAP, MS Office applications)
• Good understanding of Store operations
• Trade-tested certificate in Millwright/ Electrician
• 12 years of experience in a similar role within an FMCG or fast-paced warehousing environment
• Good numerical and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving and checking deliveries against purchase orders/invoices.
• Accurately pack and label stock in accordance with stock rotation requirements (FIFO).
• Assist in maintaining proper stock levels and organization in the warehouse.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
• Assist with the loading and offloading of goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store/warehouse.
• Ensure all stock movements are recorded on the system or relevant paperwork.
• Assist in stock replenishment to various departments or outlets.
• Adhere to company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Perform other ad hoc warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
