Financial Manager

My client is seeking a Financial Manager who has a proven track record in a senior management role within financial services and who is passionate about financial data, collaborating with people and enhancing financial performance. Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic input to the Financial Director company's leadership team on best practice, regulatory compliance and the development of long-term strategic financial plans for all entities that fall under the company brand/umbrella
• Financial Management and Reporting: Identify cost management opportunities for ensuring improved profitability and returns; plan and manage the budget process, analyse and monitor the effect of budget or policy changes and recommend correction and improvements
• Audit Management: Assist the Financial Director in planning, managing the outcomes and solutions for the company's group audit process
• Procurement Management: Manage procurement risks, quality and governance standards and ensure compliance; manage Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and ensure effective alignment with company requirements
• Risk & Compliance: Provide input to the Risk Strategy and manage/mitigate any financial risks for the company

Requirements:

• CA(SA)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a management accounting role within the Financial Services industry
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulations
• Strong financial technical skills, financial analysis and analytical skills
• IT Skills (Proficiency in accounting software and Advanced Microsoft Excel)
