Position: Legal Manager in Short Term Insurance Location: Bedfordview, Gauteng Type: Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking a Legal Manager to provide expert legal advice on commercial, regulatory, and operational matters to our dynamic team. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks to ensure compliance and protect our interests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide legal guidance to management.
Manage contracts and agreements.
Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements.
Support negotiations with partners.
Stay informed on insurance legislation.
Manage the contract lifecycle.
Prepare contract status reports.
Assist in governance processes.
Develop policies and procedures.
Monitor legal and regulatory changes.

Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications: BCom (Law), LLB
Admission: Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
Knowledge: SA Commercial and Contract Law
Experience: Short-term Insurance (advantage)
Skills: Detail-oriented, proactive, confidential
