Design, implement, and maintain robust technical systems architectures aligned with business and operational requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, system specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Install, configure, administer, and support Linux operating systems, including Red Hat, SUSE, and Ubuntu environments.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft Server operating systems and related infrastructure services.
  • Implement and maintain server security controls, ensuring compliance with organizational security standards and best practices.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory environments, including user management, group policies, and access controls.
  • Provide administration and support for Microsoft 365 services and cloud-based productivity solutions.
  • Configure, administer, and optimize database platforms including Microsoft SQL Server and InterSystems Cache/IRIS.
  • Support and maintain cloud infrastructure services within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Install, configure, and manage SAN and NAS storage solutions to ensure data availability and performance.
  • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot VMware virtualization environments.
  • Configure and support Citrix XenApp environments to facilitate secure application delivery.
  • Install, configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve network-related issues involving switches, routers, network interface cards, and connectivity services.
  • Deliver onsite and remote desktop support, resolving hardware, software, and user-related technical issues.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain printers and peripheral devices across enterprise environments.
  • Support and maintain PABX systems, ensuring uninterrupted telephony services.
  • Provide comprehensive hardware and software support across a diverse technology landscape.
  • Implement, maintain, and monitor backup solutions to ensure business continuity and data protection.
  • Manage anti-virus and endpoint protection solutions, including deployment, updates, monitoring, and threat remediation.
  • Participate in customer-facing technical meetings, providing expert advice and solution recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate support records, incident logs, and service requests through helpdesk and ticketing systems.
  • Travel to client sites to perform installations, upgrades, maintenance, and technical support activities as required.
  • Perform planned after-hours maintenance and system upgrades to minimize operational disruption.
  • Adhere to and promote ITIL service management principles and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues through effective root-cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Customer Services
  • Timeously responding to all queries/complaints.
  • Listening attentively to queries/complaints.
  • Clarifying customer problems.
  • Handling of incoming calls.
  • Follow up customer queries/complaints.
  • Keeping the customer and relevant stakeholders updated.
  • Entrenching good rapport with customers.
A Degree or BTech in Information Systems or an IT related Diploma and five years related experience.
Experience working on large enterprise systems in a 24/7 environment is preferable.
Microsoft, Linux and Cloud Certifications preferable.

Own vehicle and valid drivers license required.

  • Desktop support and troubleshooting skills.
  • Network troubleshooting skills.
  • Exposure to SAN / NAS technology
  • Meraki Cisco Switches, Routers, PABX and fibre lines.
  • Microsoft Exchange/O365.
  • VMware, Hyper V.
  • ESET, Symantec / Veritas Cluster and storage foundation.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Able to take ownership.
  • Willing to Travel if required.
