Forklift operator (7 ton / double handler)

• Valid Forklift Operator Licence (Double Handler endorsement essential).
• Proven experience operating a double handler forklift.
• Grade 10 or higher (Grade 12 advantageous).
• Good understanding of warehouse safety standards.
• Physically fit and able to work shifts if required.

• Excellent forklift handling and load control skills
• Strong safety awareness
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills
• Team player with a responsible attitude
• Warehouse and/or yard environment
• May require shift work, overtime, weekends, or public holidays

• Operate a double handler forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
• Load and offload trucks, containers, and pallets accurately and efficiently.
• Stack goods to the required height while ensuring stability and safety.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the forklift and report defects.
• Ensure correct handling of fragile, heavy, or hazardous goods where applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement and completed tasks.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and site rules.
• Keep the working area clean, organised, and free of hazards.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
