Mechanical design engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. You will play a key role in the design, development, and integration of mechanical systems and components for advanced defence projects. • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for defence applications.
• Produce detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings (using tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, or Siemens NX).
• Conduct structural and thermal analysis using FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS).
• Support design for manufacture (DFM), cost, and reliability considerations.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, systems, and manufacturing engineers.
• Participate in design reviews, prototyping, and testing activities.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant military and industry standards.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the defence, aerospace, or high-reliability sectors.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling and engineering drawing standards.
• Experience with FEA and mechanical simulation tools.
• Understanding of materials, tolerancing, and mechanical fabrication processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
