Electrician

Our client is seeking a qualified Electrician for a well-established electrical company based in Stellenbosch. Construction & Residential experience beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Installation of electrical boxes, DB Boards, other enclosures, conduits (pipes, tubing, trunking), ground leads and connecting of power to different equipment/machinery.
• Wiring of circuit breakers, transformers and electrical equipment.
• Performing maintenance and identifying maintenance requirements on electrical equipment.
• Fault finding.
• Ensuring that preventative maintenance is executed according to schedule.
• Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Performing ad-hoc duties.
• Reading and understanding electrical drawings.
• Commercial and industrial electrical installation services (three-phase and single-phase).
• Power continuity.
• Must adhere to the relevant electrical codes, procedures & safety policies.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Residential Electrical experience beneficial.
• Experience in managing various isntallation and maintenance teams.
• Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent Certification (NQF Level 4).
• Minimum of 2 years post-trade experience.
• No criminal record.
• Valid driver's license.
