Driver Trainer

Purpose:

Upskill and assess professional drivers to ensure safe, sustainable, and efficient driving practices. Split role: two weeks per month focused on training, two weeks performing driver duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-cab assessments and manage driver training programs.
• Coach safe, economical, and environmentally responsible driving.
• Deliver accident-avoidance and emergency control training.
• Train correct vehicle operation, loading/unloading, and cold chain management.
• Monitor driver performance and achieve KPIs:

Driver Duties: Operate vehicles safely, manage deliveries, maintain documentation, ensure cold chain compliance, and uphold company standards.

Requirements:

• 5 years driver experience (FMCG/QSR sector).
• Training experience on MAN & MCD trucks.
• Grade 12 minimum; Supply Chain studies advantageous.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Valid license & PDP.
