General Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and magnificent presentation of the entire property. Core criteria:

• Proven experience in general maintenance within a hotel, estate, or similar environment
• Relevant qualification or trade experience will be an advantage
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or standby when required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid drivers license (advantageous)

Key responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day maintenance across the hotel and estate
• Carry out general repairs (plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, and basic building maintenance)
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Respond to maintenance call-outs promptly to ensure guest comfort and safety
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel operational procedures

This is a live-out position.
