Powder Coating Supervisor

Duties:

• Communicate job expectations and performance requirements to employees
• Review job requirements based on product design and contractual requirements
• Technical reviews
• Production planning (Environment, qualified personnel, equipment & jigging)
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce production, safety, and quality systems, policies, and procedures
• Consider personnel qualifications
• Train & ensure competency of employees
• Ensure that finished products meet customer requirements
• Ensure that all inspection tasks are performed
• Maintain records, inspection results, and performance documentation
• Liaise with designer, client and other stakeholders to maximize efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction
• Provide root cause analysis and execute corrective action plans
• Address all non-conformances and ensure timeous corrective actions taken
• Prepare clear and concise reports
• Manage the performance of all equipment.
• Create work instructions/ standard operating procedures
• Manage the use of consumables (compatibility, storage & handling)
• Ensure compliance to Quality Management Systems
• Manage quality

Education/Training:

• Grade 12
• Supervisory/ Management training advantageous

Work Experience:

• 5 Years in a Powder coating environment
• 5 years in a supervisory/ management role
