SAIPA Article Clerk

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and management accounts for various clients.
• Handle bookkeeping and accounting functions across multiple entities.
• Assist with tax compliance, submissions, and related administrative processes.
• Prepare and review reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Liaise directly with clients and provide professional financial support.
• Assist with month-end processes and reporting requirements.
• Support senior accountants and managers with ad hoc finance-related tasks.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completed SAIPA articles is essential.
• Post-articles experience within an accounting or professional services environment will be advantageous.
• Relevant BCom qualification or similar financial qualification required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
