Key Responsibilities
Quality Management Systems (QMS)- Implement and maintain robust QMS in compliance with ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Ensure adherence to customer-specific quality requirements.
- Lead internal audits, management reviews, and corrective/preventive action initiatives.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to define and uphold supplier quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and implement corrective action plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.
- Identify and lead initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance product quality.
- Apply methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC to support quality-driven improvements.
- Train quality personnel and production teams on standards, tools, and best practices.
- Champion a company-wide culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of quality assurance personnel and production operators.
- Maintain detailed quality records, reports, and metrics.
- Analyze trends and communicate findings to management and stakeholders for strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Quality certifications are a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality engineering or quality management within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001), and regulatory requirements applicable to automotive manufacturing.
- Skilled in quality tools and methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and statistical analysis software.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
