Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain robust QMS in compliance with ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
• Ensure adherence to customer-specific quality requirements.
• Lead internal audits, management reviews, and corrective/preventive action initiatives.

• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to define and uphold supplier quality standards.
• Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and implement corrective action plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.

• Identify and lead initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance product quality.
• Apply methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC to support quality-driven improvements.

• Train quality personnel and production teams on standards, tools, and best practices.
• Champion a company-wide culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of quality assurance personnel and production operators.

• Maintain detailed quality records, reports, and metrics.
• Analyze trends and communicate findings to management and stakeholders for strategic decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Quality certifications are a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality engineering or quality management within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001), and regulatory requirements applicable to automotive manufacturing.
• Skilled in quality tools and methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and statistical analysis software.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
