Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and maintain commercial cooking equipment
- Focus on mechanical systems, gas appliances, ovens, and user-facing performance issues
- Core equipment scope includes combi ovens, convection ovens, gas and electric ranges, and more
Key Technical Skills:
- Gas appliance fault diagnosis (LPG and Natural Gas principles)
- Mechanical systems maintenance
- Electrical diagnostics on ovens and appliances
- Calibration and performance testing
Certifications / Formal Requirements:
- Gas installer qualification or strong gas appliance background
- Electrical fault-finding competence
- Valid driver's license
Experience Profile:
- 5+ years in commercial catering equipment service
- Proven experience with ovens and ranges
- Background in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Behavioural Competencies:
- Strong client interaction skills
- Detail-oriented workmanship
- Pride in clean, professional installations and repairs
Salary: R25,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month
