Actuarial Specialist â Microinsurance (Life & NonâLife)
Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyse, and interpret data for actuarial functions
Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external audiencesAnalyse mortality, morbidity, and lapse rates (life)
Analyse key metrics for nonâlife products such as loss ratios, claim frequencies, and severities
Pricing & Product Development: Support development and pricing of life and nonâlife products
Build pricing models and conduct profitability analysesAssist with structuring new deals and improving product structuring
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks across portfolios
Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis (life)Evaluate underwriting risks for nonâlife products
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to actuarial standards and regulatory requirements
Prepare statutory reports (life) and ensure nonâlife product compliance
Experience Studies & Assumption Setting: Conduct experience studies for pricing, reserving, and risk
Review historical data to update assumptions for life and nonâlife products
Collaboration & Communication: Work with underwriting, finance, and product teams
Present risk assessments to senior managementSupport development of underwriting guidelines
Professional Development: Stay up to date with industry and regulatory changes
Attend relevant training, conferences, and actuarial exams
Skills & Experience: Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar
Good progress toward Actuarial qualificationMinimum 35 years actuarial experience
Experience in life & nonâlife insurance (advantageous)
Experience in pricing and product development (advantageous)
