Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related

• 3-5 years as experienced Draughtsperson in a steel manufacturing environment
• Schematic Design
• Adherence to ISO Standards
• Generating All Drawings
• Laser Machine Programming
• Mentoring Machine Operators
• Developing training materials
• Organize and manage documentation for easy retrieval and reference

• Expertise in operating and programming laser cutting machines, including understanding machine settings (cutting parameters, estimations, data input, gas control).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and performing minor repairs on the laser cutting machines.
• An understanding of steel plates, material grades and typical industrial applications
• Knowledge of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) systems and their application in laser cutting

Systems and Software:

• Excel
• SolidWorks or similar
• AutoCad
• Inventor
• BySoft or similar
• SigmaNest
• E-Track
• In-depth knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to machinery operation and material handling.
• Competence in conducting safety audits and ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols.
• Create and validate complex 3D models and simulations to test design feasibility and efficiency.
