Job Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong financial administration skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing invoices, payments and reconciliations
- Assisting with creditors and debtors accounts
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with payroll administration and statutory submissions
- Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Handling cash flow monitoring and petty cash management
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
- Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics or Accounting
- A relevant financial qualification (Diploma or Certificate in Accounting/Finance) would be advantageous
- Minimum 23 years experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within hospitality or service industries
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Pastel, or similar)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail in financial documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
