Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong financial administration skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices, payments and reconciliations
  • Assisting with creditors and debtors accounts
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Assisting with payroll administration and statutory submissions
  • Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes
  • Handling cash flow monitoring and petty cash management
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
Qualifications
  • Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics or Accounting
  • A relevant financial qualification (Diploma or Certificate in Accounting/Finance) would be advantageous
  • Minimum 23 years experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within hospitality or service industries
Skills
  • Strong numerical and analytical ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Pastel, or similar)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in financial documentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
