External Sales Consultant

Reporting to: Branch Manager

Key Objective;

Understanding customer business environments and how to complete an analysis of account values, needs, strategy and tactics to create propositions that will appeal.

Responsibilities:

• The compilation of weekly, monthly sales and monthly activity reports
• Setup of business strategy to meet and exceed set budgets
• The development of a strategic relationship and entertainment plan to ensure the retention of existing customers
• Setup of SLAs for top customers and the ongoing monitoring of theseSLAs to ensure high levels of service delivery
• The ingrown ability to drive personal CSI levels
• The selling and implementation of the full range of products to the existing customer base, thereby ensuring customer loyalty and referrals for new business
• The marketing & selling of Process Instruments and services
• The submittal of new as well as the renewal of credit applications to the Financial Manager to facilitate the establishment and continuation of facilities
• Marketing the company's Brand Ambassador Values to the Market Place
• Achievement of set objectives and sales targets to achieve regional requirements

Daily liaison with the key accounts executives

Academic Qualifications / Skills:

• Proven sales experience in Industrial Instrumentation or similar industries
• Proven key account management
• Computer Literate, Word, Excel advanced and PowerPoint
• Minimum 3 Years' sales experience in the field
• Code 08 driver's license
• Matric
• Sales diploma will be an advantage
