We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic business environment.
🔑 Key Responsibilities- Recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate ledgers
- Assisting with reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing basic financial reports and supporting month-end processes
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks
- Matric with Mathematics; finance-related diploma or BCom Accounting preferred
- 12 years bookkeeping or accounting experience (internships accepted)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Pastel, Sage, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
