What Youll Be Responsible For
  • Manage the Weaving, Warp Knitting, Weaving Preparation, and Yarn Storage operations to achieve production and quality targets
  • Minimise waste, manage consumables and yarn inventory, and ensure efficient stock control
  • Ensure machinery is maintained to reduce downtime and improve operational performance
  • Maintain accurate reporting, operational documentation, and inventory records
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage quality issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and relevant legislation
  • Coordinate product sampling and evaluation processes before production
  • Support process improvements to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets and control operating costs
  • Support product costing, Bills of Materials, and MRP & ERP system accuracy
  • Prepare monthly management reports
  • Support procurement activities to ensure competitive pricing of consumables and chemicals
  • Drive process improvements to improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure alignment with company objectives
  • Manage operational risks, compliance requirements, and change control processes
  • Promote effective communication and a positive working environment
  • Support technical problem-solving and resource planning across operations

Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Weaving Manager role within textile manufacturing
  • Experience in weaving preparation and warp knitting would be advantageous
  • Experience in strategy development, people leadership, and operational improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of textile processing, manufacturing operations, and industry regulations
  • Relevant Bachelors degree or recognised Diploma in Textile Technology / Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Production Management and SHEQ would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of Management Systems such as Lean Sigma and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
