Picker/Packer

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Picker/Packer to join our operation in JHB -Crown Mine - Southern Suburbs on a contractor basis. As a vital part of the team, you will be responsible for accurately picking, checking, packing, and preparing customer orders, ensuring high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

• Pick products according to customer orders and system instructions
• Check product details and expiry dates meticulously
• Securely pack products to prevent damage during transportation
• Label and prepare completed orders for dispatch
• Conduct quality checks on orders
• Assist in loading and offloading stock
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Follow stock rotation procedures and assist with inventory checks
• Operate warehouse equipment safely
• Adhere to health, safety, and security protocols
• Achieve daily picking and packing targets
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• Must have Matric /Grade 12
• Previous experience in picking, packing, or retail preferred
• Good communication
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Clean criminal record
• Rate: R30.23 per Hour
