A leading supplier in the construction materials sector, operating across four southern African countries, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join their Finance Business Unit.

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Accurately capture and verify employee payroll data for the Cementitious ULCO operation
  • Conduct payroll audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Execute payroll processes in line with legal, statutory, and company requirements
  • Address and resolve payroll-related queries from employees
  • Prepare and submit management reports (e.g., budget and cost reports) and identify potential areas for improvement
  • Generate various standard and ad hoc reports as needed
  • Support audit processes by compiling necessary documentation and resolving queries
  • Print and distribute annual IRP5 documents

Requirements:

  • Grade 12, with Accounting and Mathematics
  • A payroll-related qualification will be advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a payroll environment
  • Proficiency in SAP Payroll (HR module)
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
