Job & Company Description:
As a Proposals Engineer, youll be responsible for compiling accurate and compelling technical and commercial proposals for solar PV projects. Youll work closely with the engineering, sales, and project teams to interpret client requirements, prepare detailed quotations, optimize system designs, and ensure that all proposals align with both technical feasibility and client expectations.
Job Experience & Skills Required:- Proven experience in preparing proposals or cost estimates for solar PV or renewable energy projects
- Strong knowledge of solar system components, layouts, and performance modeling
- Proficient in tools such as PVSyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, and Excel
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and client specifications
- Detail-oriented with strong written communication and presentation skills
- Electrical Engineers with a passion for renewable energy and strong commercial acumen
- Junior Engineers with solar experience and a willingness to grow into a proposals role
- Be part of a forward-thinking team driving clean energy adoption
- Work on exciting commercial and industrial solar projects
- Opportunity to grow into a senior proposals or project development role
- Based in Sandton prime location with excellent industry exposure
