Graphic Designer
We are recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client in the travel and tourism industry, seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join their dynamic team in Bryanston, Sandton. This is a full-time, in-office position requiring 30-40 hours per week.
Role Overview
As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning materials that capture the essence of travel destinations and experiences. You will work closely with marketing teams to develop compelling visual content for both digital and print media, including brochures, advertisements, social media graphics, and website elements.
Key Responsibilities- Design and produce high-quality graphic content for various marketing channels
- Create visually appealing layouts for travel brochures, catalogues, and promotional materials
- Develop brand-consistent imagery for digital platforms and social media campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing teams to understand design requirements and objectives
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the client's message
- Stay updated with current design trends, especially within the travel and tourism sector

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a creative professional with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic design, particularly in creating visually engaging content. You should have a passion for travel and tourism, with the ability to translate experiences into compelling visual narratives.
Essential Qualifications- Certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
- 3-6 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably with exposure to the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors
- Proficiency in English language (both written and verbal communication)
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong portfolio showcasing versatile design skills across different media
- Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles
- Experience with digital and print design formats
- Ability to work within brand guidelines while bringing fresh creative ideas
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret client briefs effectively
- Experience in UI/UX design for websites or mobile applications
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles
- Understanding of marketing principles and consumer psychology
- Previous work experience in the travel and tourism industry
