Cost Accountant: Operational Finance (Food & Agri)

Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for costing across operations, including accurate product costing and margin analysis
- Management and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Work-in-Progress (WIP)
- Detailed tracking and analysis of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
- Identify and implement process efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives
- Continuous improvement of systems and reporting tools within the finance function
- Work closely with operations to provide insights and support decision-making
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Proven experience in a Cost Accountant / Management Accountant role within food, FMCG, or agri environments
- Strong working knowledge of BOMs, WIP, and COGS
- Demonstrated ability to drive efficiencies and system improvements
- Highly analytical, logical thinker with strong problem-solving ability
- Hands-on approach and comfortable working on the ground with operations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Relevant finance qualification (CIMA / BCom or similar advantageous)
- Own reliable transport is essential
