IT Systems Engineer

Job Purpose:

• Utilise your Microsoft SQL skills to be able to extract data or query the database to investigate system issues.
• To resolve logged tickets by end users and assist with any issues logged via the in-house ticketing system.
• Provide IT support to the business when required. This includes support to remote stores to ensure that tasks and tickets are logged and escalated with the correct remote managed IT Service Providers, and follow up to maintain the agreed SLA time.
• To handle and track IT purchasing.
• To ensure daily sales from customers are imported successfully in the Syspro ERP system along with ensuring any issues with source data is resolved and successfully imported into Utopia Data Transform System

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Computer Science Diploma or equivalent (Information Technology).
• Minimum 2 to 5+ years proven experience as a Systems Engineer, Network Administrator, Master Data Admin, Utilising E.Net solutions, Syspro Business Objects API Integration.
• Must have experience with E.Net framework, xml and Json, Data Transforms.
• Familiarity with Utopia or Flow Gear, XML API, or Business Object Integration and Mongo DB required.
• Certifications like N+ A+, MCSA, MCSD, Syspro Administrator.
• Advanced Excel and Power Query skills needed to maintain and build new adhoc reports.
• Prior Syspro experience along with some SQL Administration experience and Utopia Data Transformations using MongoDB would be beneficial.

• Provide technical support to staff and resolve IT-related issues efficiently.

• Be part of a small functional teams and meetings and provide input into technical issues that can have an impact on the business direction.
• Develop business level competency to be able to stand in for IT Executive in his absence.
• Analyse data and derive insights into business performance and technical issues.
• Assist in IT projects such as migrations, upgrades, and deployments.
